KUCHING, Aug 4: Only one new positive Covid-19 case was recorded in Malaysia, today.
According to Health Ministry (MOH) statement, the sole case recorded today was a local transmission from Perlis.
The total number of cumulative cases in Malaysia is now at 9,002 and the number of active cases as of today stands at 193.
No fatality was reported to the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) today, with the total number of cumulative death cases remained at 125.
MOH also said 16 more patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals, bringing the rate of recovery to 8,684 cases.
There are also no patients being treated in the intensive care unit today.-DayakDaily
