KUCHING, Dec 22: Sarawak has recorded zero Covid-19 related deaths for three consecutive days, as the State’s death toll remains unchanged at 1,614.
The total Covid-19 infections in Sarawak, however, rose to 252,094 cases today with 30 new cases recorded in nine districts.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in its daily updates on Covid-19 situation in Sarawak, revealed that only one patient has been classified under Category 4 with pneumonia and required oxygen support.
There are 14 cases under Category 1 with no symptoms and 15 cases in Category 2 with mild symptoms.
As for the breakdown of the cases, Kuching recorded 14 cases, followed by Lawas (5 cases), Sibu (4 cases) and Miri (3 cases).
Serian, Lubok Antu, Bau, Bintulu and Dalat recorded one case each.
Currently, there are no active clusters in Sarawak. — DayakDaily
