KUCHING, Oct 22: The annual Miri Country Music Festival (MCMF) will return on Nov 24 at the Coco Cabana, next to Miri Seahorse Lighthouse.
A press release from its organiser, Place Borneo Sdn Bhd, said this fifth edition was expected to attract about 1,000 festival goers to watch six local and international bands delivering original numbers and greatest country music hits that are suitable for music fans of all ages.
First held in 2014, MCMF has featured a myriad of multi-talented country and western performers and musicians from all over the globe.
Throughout the years, MCMF has grown into an established annual event, with audiences coming from Brunei, Bintulu, Bario and beyond.
Each year, MCMF fans got to enjoy not only music and band performances but also workshops, food and beverage, a novelty merchandise bazaar and more.
Both locals and foreigners enjoy the lively family-friendly atmosphere of the festival that caters to all ages, said the organiser.
Tickets are now on sale at RM30 each. Children aged 12 years and below get free entrance.
