MIRI, August 7: A cook in his 30’s lodged a police report on Sunday after he was threatened by 15 men over unpaid debts amounting to RM5,000.

The incident allegedly occurred near North Yu Seng road traffic light around 2am that same day. One of the suspects used an iron knuckle to intimidate the complainant.

However, the complainant’s luck had a turn for the better when he spotted a Mobile Police Vehicle (MPV) patrolling nearby and the whole commotion immediately was put to an end when the MPV arrived.

The complainant later lodged a police report at Miri Central police station (CPS). — DayakDail
