KUCHING, Nov 14: Consumers with electrical appliances damaged by power supply interruption may make claims from Sarawak Energy Berhad (Sarawak Energy) with the necessary documentation.
Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Abdul Rahman Junaidi said they must write a claim letter to Sarawak Energy and attach police report, together with photos of the damages and repair receipts.
āSarawak Energy will conduct a followup investigation after receiving the documentation.
āAs of now, Sarawak Energy has received a total of 191 claims of damages,ā he said at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) sitting here today.
Abdul Rahman was answering questions from Kabong assemblyman Dato Mohd Chee Kadir regarding Sarawak Energy’s customer claim procedures.
Mohd Chee also requested for data involving how many claims have been made from Sarawak Energy as of Oct 30. ā DayakDaily
