KUCHING, Nov 29: Construction works on the Satok Suspension Bridge at Jalan Matang to Jalan Merdeka (Kubah Ria) will resume tomorrow (Nov 30).
According to Public Works Department (JKR) Southern Regional Office, in a statement today, the construction works are expected to be completed by Dec 31 this year.
“As such, road users are advised to plan their routes in advance in order to avoid any problem in the areas involved in the construction works,” it said.
The statement noted, road users can use the road from the Tun Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Rahman Ya’kub roundabout, as an alternative road to Jalan Merdeka, which is also connected to Jalan Matang.
“Any changes on the date, time or areas involved will be informed from time to time,” the statement added. — DayakDaily
