Come meet the world No.1 Pokémon GO trainer in Kuching

KUCHING, Dec 8: Local Pokémon GO trainers and fans will have the opportunity to meet the No.1 ranked Pokémon GO trainer Brandon Tan who has the most experience points in the game in the world.

The Singaporean will be in Kuching on his maiden visit as a guest at the Timeless Cup PvP event hosted by the Borneo-Kuching PVP Club on December 15 (Sun).

All Pokémon GO trainers in Sarawak are invited to participate in the Timeless Cup which is scheduled to promptly kick off at 2pm at Taman Sahabat (Friendship Park) Restaurant.

This event is the first of its kind in Kuching and is aimed at giving local Pokémon GO trainers a chance to meet other trainers from outstation, exchange tips as well as battle head-to-head to challenge themselves and upgrade their skills.

A number of trainers from outside Kuching have already confirmed their attendance.

The rules of PvP is according to the rules of Silph Road.

The confirmation of PvP trainers, communications and photo-taking sessions are scheduled for 2.45pm while the PvP session is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.

Pokémon GO is an augmented reality mobile game which has taken the world by storm since it debuted in July 2016. Kuching is home to an estimated 500-strong community of active Pokémon GO players of all ages from all walks of life who gather regularly to search for and capture Pokémon as well as go on raids. — DayakDaily
