KUCHING, June 12: Six sets each of digital thermometer scanners, blood pressure equipment, SpO2 pulse oximetry and weighing scales were among the donations gifted to the College Rafflesia, Unimas.
Kuching City South Council (MBKS) said other equipment included five wheelchairs and two commode chairs.
MBKS Dato Wee Hong Seng was the representative on behalf of Jom Pharmacy Sdn Bhd, Sharing Planet Sdn Bhd, Ori Pasti Ori (Kuching) Sdn Bhd and an anonymous donor who handed over the items to the management team today.
“Dato Wee would like to thank the donors for the donation as these equipment will help the operation of the new PKRC at Unimas (Universiti Malaysia Sarawak) runs smoothly and they can fully utilise it.
“It shows that the companies are very supportive and doing good deeds for the public during the pandemic,” said the Council in a press statement today.
MBKS also complimented the good example these companies have set for the others during these trying times amid the nationwide lockdown. — DayakDaily
