She also expressed her appreciation to the media fraternity here for their unwavering support and dedication to Petronas.

“Your commitment plays a key role in helping us grow and transform together and we are honoured to have this valuable opportunity to network with all of you here tonight,” she said in her welcoming remarks at Petronas’ Chinese New Year Dinner with Sarawak media, last night.

The event was further enlivened by a ‘Yee Sang’ ceremony which symbolises unity and prosperity, and is further complemented by engaging networking sessions with members of the media.

Petronas also took the opportunity to share its Chinese New Year webfilm this year, ‘Tetap Di Sini’ or ‘Stay’, a heartwarming short film of a young boy called Xiao Bao and his family, exploring themes of love and resilience, amid hardship.

The film encompasses values of empathy, compassion, and mutual care – principles deeply embedded in Malaysia’s cultural fabric.

“We hope this film will inspire all Malaysians to continue fostering unity and support for one another, strengthening the bonds that define us as a nation,” Siti Azlina said.

This webfilm is now available to watch on Petronas’ YouTube and Facebook.

Also present at the dinner last night were Petronas Group Strategic Relations & Communications vice president Nooruddin Abdullah, Petronas Sarawak Regional Office general manager Norazibah Md Rabu, and other distinguished guests. – DayakDaily
