KUCHING, Nov 7: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg will be launching the Batu Kawah Riverbank Park tomorrow.
Minister for Local Government and Housing Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian announced this in his Telegram message today.
He said the Batu Kawah Riverbank Park features an iconic landmark called “The Sky Window of Batu Kawah”.
Dr Sim who is Batu Kawah incumbent said the 30-metre-high Sky Window is equivalent to a 10-storey building.
He added the people can climb the structure through the staircase or use the lift to enjoy the spectacular view of the vibrant Batu Kawah township.
The Batu Kawah Riverbank Park project consisted of five phases with the first and second phases funded by the State government with a cost of RM8.8 million. — DayakDaily
