CM receives courtesy call from STIC to discuss future directions

KUCHING, Oct 9: The Sarawak Islamic Information Centre (SIIC) today paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg to share the organisation’s future directions for the state.

SIIC in a press statement said the visit is also to introduce the committee members for the SIIC advisory panel, and at the same time brief the Chief Minister on SIIC’s strategy and approach for the year 2020-2025.

“Apart from that, SIIC also seeks for the advice and views from the Chief Minister, in order to ensure that the organisation’s strategy and approach is in line with the hopes and aspirations of the Sarawak government,” it said.


The SIIC courtesy call was led by Prof Datuk Mohamad Kadim Suaidi, together with Khalid Ibrahim, Datu Sarudu Hoklai, Zabariah Matali, Salmah Ibrahim Melina, Mortadza Lau Abdullah, Datu Dr Hatta Solhee, and Datu Abang Mohd Shibli Abg Mohd Nailie.

Following that, the Chief Minister also received another courtesy call from the Parents-Teachers Association (PIBG) of Kolej Datu Patinggi Abang Haji Abdillah (Kolej DPAH).

The group was led by its chairman Fathi Hambali, together with deputy chairman Abdul Hadi Datuk Abdul Kadir, Kolej DPAH principal Abang Othman Abang Masagus, and its exco members Ahmad Abang, Atika Berzuri and Omar Mahli. –DayakDaily.
