Chinese commerce guild briefed on PCDS 2030 for cooperation with public sector

KUCHING, Feb 17: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) had the opportunity to be briefed on the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030) for the private sector at the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) Sarawak.

In a statement today, ACCCIS revealed the discussion also touched on how the private sector would be able to engage with public sector committees, the outcome of the outstanding applications for subsidies for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and microenterprises under Bantuan Khas Sarawaku Sayang (BKSS) 7.0 and 7.0 plus.

They also discussed the sharing of data and information from government departments and statutory agencies, waste management system or recycling of tyres and oil palm and labour shortages.

The delegation led by their president Dato Tan Jit Kee also made a courtesy call to the Director of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) Sarawak, Lester Mathew.
