Chinese Chamber of Commerce visits Hari Raya open house of dignitaries, extends invitations for 133rd anniversary celebration

KUCHING, April 26: The Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI) led a delegation of committee members to visit the Hari Raya open house of Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah on the second day of the celebrations on April 23.

The delegation was led by deputy president, who is also Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ACCCIS) vice president, Datuk Wee Kok Hui.

He was accompanied by KCGCCI secretary-general Dato Jonathan Chai Voon Tok and its working committee chairman for KCGCCI 133rd anniversary Rodger Chan.


They also visited the Hari Raya open house of Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Datuk Len Talif Salleh, Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Sarawak director Ir Ahmad Denney Ahmad Fauzi and former Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Parliament) Dato Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

On the third day of the Aildilfitri celebration, a delegation led by vice president Dennis Chin visited the open house of Deputy Minister of Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali and Centexs chief executive officer Syeed Mohd Hussien.

The delegation also took the opportunity to hand over official letters to invite them to KCGCCI’s 133rd anniversary celebration on July 7. — DayakDaily
