KUCHING, Dec 28: Children looking forward to having fun in shopping malls can eye a return to children’s play centres within shopping malls next year.
According to a statement from the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today, the committee has decided to allow children’s play centres located in shopping malls to operate starting from Jan 1, 2022 subject to standard operating procedures (SOPs) prepared by the Ministry of Local Government and Housing.
The committee pointed out that all operators of arcade centres must apply for permits from the local authorities before starting operations. — DayakDaily
