KUCHING, Oct 7: Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP) Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah hopes for a bigger allocation for tourism, creative industry, sports, and youth development in the coming Budget 2025.
Abdul Karim, however, is optimistic that the federal government will be looking into the matter because it is vital to develop youth, talent, arts, and culture.
“Of course, I do hope the amount that will be allocated for this development will be substantial,” he told a press conference held at Baitulmakmur Building 2 in Petra Jaya today.
He was replying to a reporter asking about what he looks forward to in the coming Budget 2025 that will be tabled in Parliament on October 18.
Abdul Karim, however, said when it comes to the State Budget 2025, he believes that it will be very much taken care of. — DayakDaily
