MUKAH, Oct 3: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg took part in a 2km brisk walk to Gerai Kopi Market Dana, better known as Stabak Mukah, as part of the Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) 2026 programme in the Mukah Division here today.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the Premier also took time to have breakfast with local community members in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The leisurely activity not only promoted a healthy lifestyle but also allowed the Sarawak Premier to get closer to and interact with local community members, strengthening ties and allowing leaders to hear directly from the community.
The activity was among the programmes held under SKS 2026 in the Mukah Division, which features various community activities, exhibitions and government agency services aimed at bringing public services closer to the people.
The Premier is scheduled to officiate the Sarawakku Sayang 2026 programme for the Mukah Division at Dataran Pehin Setia Raja later the same day.
Also taking part were Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; Minister for Women, Children, and Community Wellbeing Development Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah; Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and Ukas) Datuk Abdullah Saidol; Deputy Minister for Urban Development, Land Administration and Environment Datuk Len Talif Salleh; Mukah MP Dato Hanifah Hajar Taib; Tanjong Manis MP Dato Yusuf Abdul Wahab; Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi; and Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine. — DayakDaily
