BINTULU, Aug 31: The body of an unidentified woman was found in a drain near the entrance to the Taman Li Hui junction here this morning.
According to a report from the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the firefighters received a request to assist with extracting the body from the drain at about 10.03am.
A team of six Bomba personnel led by PBKII (KUP) Pek Layang were deployed to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters used a stretcher to extract the woman’s body from the drain. The remains were handed over to the police for further action.
As of press time, the identity of the woman had yet to be ascertained as no form of personal identification was found on the body. — DayakDaily
