Body of missing 13yo boy recovered from downstream Lemujan river, Bintangor

BINTANGOR, June 2: The body of a 13-year-old boy, who was feared drowned after falling into the Lemujan river near Rumah Thomas Liman Leman Lempa Ampu in Jalan Wan Pakan, has been located and recovered.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak reported that members of the public discovered the victim approximately 50 metres downstream from where he went missing at 8.40am today.

His remains have been handed over to the police for further procedures, marking the conclusion of the search and rescue (SAR) operation initiated yesterday (June 1). ā€” DayakDaily
