MIRI, Jan 23: The body of a man who is believed to have fallen off the Lutong Bridge here on Sunday, was found at 4.04pm today (Tuesday).
According to Lutong Fire and Rescue Department chief Henry Jugah, the body was found about 50 metres from where he was last seen.
On Sunday, around 4.21pm, police received a report about a man spotted sitting on the edge of the bridge, before he suddenly jumped off the bridge.
A search and rescue operation (SAR) was immediately mounted that same day.
The body was recovered by Bomba personnel and handed over to the police for further investigation. — DayakDaily
