KUCHING, June 15: The body of a student was found in a lake located within a university’s campus in Kota Samarahan this morning, according to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations center.
The operation commander at the location confirmed that the body, identified to be Zoolfazairy Zaharen, 20, was found floating about three meters from the lake shore.

Firefighters then proceeded to retrieve the body from the lake following approval from the police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The body was later handed over to the police to be transported to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for a post-mortem examination. — DayakDaily
