BAU, June 3: A BMW driver escaped unscathed after his vehicle crashed into a roadside drain near Bidi town along Jalan Bau-Krokong early this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in Bau received an emergency call at 3.11am and promptly dispatched a team to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle abandoned, with the driver no longer present.
According to local villagers, the accident is believed to have occurred around 1am, and the driver—who was reportedly unharmed—had already left the scene.
Firefighters concluded the operation at approximately 3.34am after conducting safety checks to ensure the area posed no further hazard. — DayakDaily
