Bintulu MP appointed as Malaysia’s special trade ambassador to China

KUCHING, April 20: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has been appointed as Prime Minister’s Special Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China with the status as a minister.

In a brief statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office today, Tiong has served as special envoy to East Asia from 2014 to 2018.

The Bintulu MP’s main role would be to assist the country in the bilateral ties with the People’s Republic of China, especially in the trade and investment. — DayakDaily
