Bintulu cops conduct ‘Ops Lusuh’ to curb rampant cable, copper thefts

KUCHING, Jan 28: Bintulu District Police Headquarters conducted ‘Ops Lusuh’ to curb the district’s rampant cable and copper thefts.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, the operation was conducted on business premises selling used goods throughout the district on Thursday to inspect whether the dealers are buying stolen items.

At the same time, the police also called for cooperation from licensed secondhand goods dealers to not buy any stolen items.
