KUCHING, June 19: Borneo Cultures Museum is offering visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and mystery of the moon, showcasing an awe-inspiring exhibition titled ‘Museum of the Moon’ by renowned artist Luke Jerram from June 17 until August 5.
This seven-meter-in-diameter spherical sculpture installation depicts the moon’s surface using high-resolution NASA imagery, which was intricately designed to provide an up-close and personal encounter with Earth’s celestial companion, evoking a sense of wonder and reflection.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 9am to 4.45pm on Mondays to Fridays and from 9.30am to 4.30pm on weekends and public holidays.
