Batu Kitang mission schools receive RM248,000 in Unifor grants to enhance learning environments

KUCHING, Sept 12: Batu Kitang assemblyman Dato Lo Khere Chiang today presented Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) grants to two mission schools within the N13 Batu Kitang constituency in Kuching, reaffirming the government’s commitment to enhancing educational facilities in the area.

According to a press statement, the grants, amounting to RM110,000 for SK St David in Kampung Bumbok and RM138,000 for SK Sacred Heart in Kampung Semeba, are set to play a pivotal role in the development of these schools, ultimately providing better learning environments for students.

“This contribution is a testament to the government’s dedication to uplifting educational standards and supporting mission schools in the region,” read the press statement.
