KUCHING, Dec 31: Works Minister Baru Bian hoped everyone would continue to do their bit with dedication to help build a better Malaysia in 2019 and beyond.
In his New Year message, Baru, who is also Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) chief, said the arrival of the new year should be welcomed with more “positive and strong determination” to face the challenges ahead.
“Hopefully, this powerful determination can be translated into a catalyst for economic growth and productivity, generating political stability and strengthening racial harmony.
“In this regard, let’s unite our resolve to continue to work hard to advance the nation and continue to foster unity for the sake of harmony and development of our beloved country,” he said.
Baru, who is also Selangau MP and Ba’Kelalan assemblyman, hoped every prayer and ambition to develop Malaysia could be achieved successfully.
On 2018, he opined it had left a profound effect on all Malaysians.
“That is a fact. Let the bad ones be our boundaries and the good ones be our lessons,” he said and hoped that everyone would be blessed with good health and wellbeing in 2019. — DayakDaily
