Baru, Ali and Willie quit PKR to form new bloc in Parliament

KUCHING, Feb 24: Several Sarawakian MPs from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) have quit their political posts and Pakatan Harapan (PH) federal government together with deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

PKR, in a statement, said the 11 MPs including Sarawak PKR chief Baru Bian, Saratok MP Ali Biju and Puncak Borneo MP Willie Mongin were set to form an independent bloc in Parliament.


Other MPs who quit the party were Zuraida Kamaruddin (Ampang), Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah (Indera Mahkota), Datuk Kamaruddin Jaffar (Bandar Tun Razak), Datuk Mansor Othman (Nibong Tebal), Datuk Rashid Hasnon (Batu Pahat), Datuk Seri Dr Santhara Kumar (Segamat) and Jonathan Yasin (Ranau). — DayakDaily
