KUCHING, Dec 24: Bandar Kuching Member of Parliament Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen has channelled RM4.2 million to education, youth, community, health and welfare in his parliamentary constituency this year.
Of the amount spent, RM2,68,980.29 (64 per cent) was allocated for education, RM529,086 (13 per cent) on the youth, RM503,917 (12 per cent) on the community, RM254,000 (6 per cent) on health and RM228,016.71 (5 per cent) on welfare.
“The report card also records various activities of the Bandar Kuching Service Centre including the recently concluded ‘SPM Power Preparation Workshop’, ‘Agro Madani’, ‘STPM Reward 2022/2023’, ‘SPM Reward 2022’, ‘Tertiary Education Assistant Fund for P195 Bandar Kuching’, and ‘No More Bets’ special movie screening programme.
“We never forget to thank all the cooperation and strong support to us and our service team, which enabled the smooth execution of constituency affairs,” he said in a statement today.
