“A total of 2,800 ports facilities will be created around the area and once this (installation) completed it will not only benefited residents but also their children who are currently on home-based teaching and learning (PdPR)” he told reporters after visiting the residential area on Friday.

According to Lee, a month ago, several requests have been made by residents at the Quadruplex unit to install internet pots within the area.

He said most of the parents have expressed their worries and concerns that their children are struggling during their online learning session because of the poor internet connectivity within the area.

“Once the installations of the ports are completed, residents will be able to access the network and take advantage of the higher internet speed connection,” he added. – DayakDaily.
