Balai Ringin rep presents allocations worth RM1.5mil from Unifor to 12 churches

KUCHING, Dec 12: Balai Ringin assemblyman Datuk Snowdan Lawan presented allocations worth RM1.5 million from the Unit for Other Religion (Unifor) to 12 churches in the constituency.

According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Snowdan, also the Sarawak Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts, handed over the allocation at a depot in Balai Ringin on Sunday (Dec 11).

Apart from that, 26 village development and security committees (JKKKs), Women’s Bureaus, Parents & Teachers Associations (PIBGs), and other associations also received minor rural project (MRP) grants totalling RM269,000.
