MIRI, August 5: Four auxiliary police personnel of an estate in Ladang 3 were turned over to the authorities for allegedly stealing from their workplace on Sunday morning.
According to sources, prior to the arrests, the estate’s manager had conducted an internal investigation after he received reports of several items inside the estate which had gone missing.
On Sunday, around 2am, the manager had conducted a spot check at the suspects’ quarters after he received tip-offs of the alleged thefts.
A police report was immediately lodged after the four suspects were apprehended.
However, it was not immediately disclosed what was reported stolen.
The suspects have been handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
