KUCHING, Dec 19: Association Churches of Sarawak (ACS) will hold a Combined Christmas Service 2019 at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre at 7.30pm today.
ACS secretary Elder Ambrose Linang calls on all Christians to come and worship together as the body of Christ.
“This is the last event we have together as a community of Christians, to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus in the year 2019.
“Let us all come and end this year together as a united body of Christ Jesus and give Him all the glory and honour,” Ambrose told DayakDaily.
He said this is an annual event and the theme for this year is “Christ, the Birth, the Light, the Reason”. The host church is the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
“Every year, there are more than 2,500 Christians turning up to join this combined worship service. This year, again we are expecting between 2,500 to 3,000 to attend the service.
“We hope those who have been faithfully attending it will come and bring more friends to celebrate together,” said Ambrose. — DayakDaily
