Armed robbers escape with RM600, motorcycle

MIRI, March 27: Three masked men armed with machetes robbed a man at Tudan near a supermarket building on Tuesday afternoon (March 26).

The 21 year-old victim was unharmed during the incident.

According to sources, the victim was riding a motorcycle along the road when he was stopped by the three suspects in a Perodua Viva at about 12.15pm.

After relieving the victim of cash amounting to RM600 and his motorcycle, the suspects fled the scene.

A police report was immediately lodged afterwards. As at the press time, no arrests have been made. Police are investigating the case. — DayakDaily
