MIRI, July 22: A cat was saved by Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel today after it got stuck roughly 14-feet up a tree for three days within the compound of Miri Hospital.

Several members of the public including the hospital’s security personnel had tried desperately to rescue the cat before they called APM for help.

They were unsure of how it got up there, and the cat appeared to be having trouble getting back down.

“Six APM personnel were deployed to the scene upon receiving an alert call on the incident at 3.26pm,” said Miri APM office in-charge Captain (PA) Usman Harto.

They arrived at about 3.35pm.
