KUCHING, June 22: American Reggae band Big Mountain is set to vibe at Rainforest World Music Festival (RMWF) 2023.
The band is known for its remake of Peter Framption’s ‘Baby, I Love Your Way’.
According to TV Sarawak (TVS), the band arrived in Kuching on June 21, together with other performing bands namely Chatusram from India and Safi Theatre from Tanzania.
The 26th RMWF 2023 will be held on June 23 to 25 at the Sarawak Cultural Village, Kuching, which feature 199 musicians from 12 countries across more than three continents performing diverse range of music, including Grammy Award winner Gipsy Kings from France.
The festival will showcases performance from local musicians such as Zee Avi, Suk Binie, APU, Nadir, Steve Thornton Band, Sada Borneo, Tuku Kame, Nading Rhapsody, Geng Wak Long, Buloh Berkocak, At Adau, Meruked and Orang Orang Drum.
