KUCHING, Jan 16: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has denied involvement in a so-called Shariah-compliant investment scheme in an advertisement posted on social media.
In the post on his official Facebook page yesterday, Fadillah said he had never given anyone permission to use his photos.
“I’ve directed my special officer at the Petra Jaya Service Centre to file a police report regarding the poster’s distribution.
“For the record, irresponsible parties have shared the same fake poster on social media in the past year,” he said.
Fadillah, who is also the Plantation and Commodities Minister, revealed that a police report was also filed on Sept 3, last year, regarding the fake poster that circulated on social media last year. — DayakDaily
