Alexander Nanta re-appointed secretary-general of PBB for 2025-2027 term

KUCHING, Feb 16:  Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi has been re-appointed as the secretary general of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).

The announcement was made by party president Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg this morning at 16th PBB Triennial Delegates Conference here at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

He also announced former Betong MP Datuk Robert Lawson Chuat and Salihin Abang have been appointed as the party’s auditors.

Meanwhile, the supreme council has appointed new members for the upcoming term in both the Bumiputera and Pesaka wings.

The 16 Bumiputera wing supreme council that have been elected are Yusuf Abdul Wahab, Datuk Aidel Lariwoo, Abdul Yakub Arbi, Mohamad Duri, Safiee Ahmad, Datuk Abdullah Saidol, Datuk Ricky @ Mohammad Razi Sitam, Awla Dris, Razaili Gapor, Dato Haidar Khan Asghar Khan, Senator Dato’ Ahmad Ibrahim, Iskandar Turkee, Awangku Jinal Abedin Pengiran Jawa, Sulhie Salleh, Syed Hamzah Wan Hamid Edruce, and Julaihi Mohamad.

Meanwhile, 19 candidates contested for the Pesaka wing supreme council roles with 14 emerging victorious are Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat, Lidam Assan, John Ilus, Senator Michael Mujah Lihan, Dato Dr Richard Rapu @ Aman Begri, Dr Simon Sinang Bada, Datuk Willie Mongin, Dato Daniel Jubang Kanyan, Dato Palu @ Paulus Palu Gumbang, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Dato Dennis Ngau, Dato Henry Sum Agong, Leonard Jambu, and Jawan Nyaun. –DayakDaily
