MIRI, Sept 10: Alert neighbours foiled a would-be burglar who targeted a house in Lorong Desa Senadin 2D on Sunday evening (Sept 9).
According to sources, the incident happened just after 5.30pm at a house which is used by the owner to conduct religious class during the weekends. However, at the time of the intrusion, the house was empty as there were no classes for that day.
The sound of double-glazed glass breaking caused nearby neighbours to look around, just in time to see the man climbing into the house.
Suspecting something was amiss, they immediately called the police for assistance.
Three police motorcycle patrol units came and arrested the suspect before bringing him to the police station for further questioning. — DayakDaily
