KUCHING, Nov 18: Airport Road here will be temporarily closed for one week from Nov 21 until Nov 28, 2021 for road maintenance work.
The Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement today said, the temporary closure will start from 8pm until 5am to allow heavy machinery operators to carry out the job at the site.
The department added that the road will be opened as soon as possible if the maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule to facilitate traffic movement.
Road users are advised to follow the signage provided, cooperate with the traffic control officer in that area and plan their routes during the closure period.
