KUCHING, July 17: AirBorneo has officially launched its first ticketing office at Kuching International Airport (KIA), providing a one-stop centre for ticketing services and customer support, with plans to open ticket offices at every new destination it serves.

He also expressed his appreciation to the AirBorneo management team, led by its chief executive officer (CEO), Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin, for establishing the ticketing office through the collective efforts of all parties involved.

“I was informed that this office was completed just a few days ago. On behalf of the Sarawak government, I would like to congratulate and wish every success to everyone who contributed to making this effort a success,” he said during the launch of the AirBorneo Ticket Counter at KIA here today, as reported by TVS.

Meanwhile, Megat said opening ticketing offices at every destination makes AirBorneo’s services more accessible and convenient for passengers as they can purchase tickets, make booking changes, update their travel details, and receive assistance with any issues related to their customer experience.

“For example, when we begin operating flights between Kuching and Kuala Lumpur, we will also set up a small ticketing office at the airport there (Kuala Lumpur). As we expand to other cities, we will have ticket offices at those destinations,” he said to reporters after the event.

He also noted that Kuching will remain AirBorneo’s main hub, making the ticketing office in the city the airline’s primary customer service centre. — DayakDaily
