KUCHING, Jan 14: Ahmad Selihin Che Said will officially assume his role as the new director of the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) on Jan 15.
Ahmad Selihin, who previously served as JBALB’s Deputy Director (Operations), expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions of Datu Awg Mohammad Fadillah Awg Redzuan during his tenure as director from Jan 2, 2024 to Jan 14, 2026.
His appointment follows the handover ceremony of the director’s notes held today at the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) Tower along Jalan Isthmus, organised by the Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication (MUT) Sarawak.
The ceremony marked the official leadership transition and ensured continuity in the department’s operations.
The event was witnessed by MUT permanent secretary Datu Jafri Lias and attended by notable figures including Sarawak Energy Berhad Group chief operating officer (COO) Dato James Ung, Mohamad Adzman Abdullah from Sarawak Water Sdn Bhd, heads of departments, and other distinguished guests. — DayakDaily
