KUCHING, Sept 15: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah will present every letter and petition from the people of Sabah and Sarawak to Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim for further action.
Istana Negara in a social media post yesterday (Sept 14) uploaded several photos of His Majesty reading the letters and petitions that he received by hand during the ‘Kembara Kenali Borneo’ tour, which took place from Sept 3 to 13.
“His Majesty has read every letter and petition that was handed over by the people of Sabah and Sarawak to him throughout the ‘Kembara Kenali Borneo’ tour for 11 days which ended yesterday (Sept 13).
“His Majesty will then forward all the letters and petitions to the Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“His Majesty thanked all the citizens of Sabah and Sarawak who were willing to share their stories of joy and sorrow and various problems through the letters and petitions,” Istana Negara wrote. — DayakDaily
