ACS: Spend Christmas building trust, bonds with family, friends

Ambrose Linang

KUCHING, Dec 25: The Association of Churches in Sarawak reminds all Christians to spend time with family and friends to build unbreakable bondage and trust.

Its secretary-general Elder Ambrose Linang said the celebration is to create memories that last and share love and joy with each other.

“Christmas is about spending time with family and friends. It is also the time to enhance our relationship with all families and friends of all races and religions.

“It is a time to share all the laughter and cheer. It is a time to create good memories so strong that at time of hardship, these good memories will continue to bind our relationship and trust together,” said Ambrose in a statement today.

“It is the season to share our joy and a love without end.”

He said the Christmas message of “Peace on Earth and Goodwill To All” is needed as much as ever.

“May all of us have the spirit of Christmas which is Peace; the gladness of Christmas which is Hope and the heart of Christmas which is Love.

“May this Christmas end the present year on a cheerful note and make way for a fresh and bright New Year,” said Ambrose. — DayakDaily
