KUCHING, Jan 21: Taman Hui Sing community praised the Democratic Action Party (DAP) for being true to the party’s principle and struggles.
Democratic Action Party Socialist Youth (DAPSY) Stampin Division chief Abdul Aziz Isa in a press statement today said during his meet-and-greet session which was held recently at Taman Hui Sing, they have received positive feedback and an overwhelming amount of support from the locals there.
According to him, many of them were also disappointed with the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) for working together with Parti Islam Se Malaysia (PAS) and have lost their trust in SUPP.
“On the other hand, they praised DAP for being true to their principles and are consistent with its struggles. They said that DAP could have stayed in the government now if they work together with PAS, but because of its strong principles, many have saluted DAP for not doing so,” he said.
On the same note, Aziz said, as the DAPSY Stampin Chief, he will continue to go to the ground and ensure that the members of the public and business owners are being well-informed of the current political situation.
