Abang Johari receives courtesy call from YADIM

KUCHING, Feb 22: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya yesterday (Feb 21).

According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the delegation was led by YADIM Sarawak director Awang Dulhadi Awang Mat together with the senior director in the Office of the president of YADIM, Muhammad Najhan Shahir Halim and chief executive officer Kamarul Arief Soh.

According to Kamarul, the purpose of the courtesy call was further to strengthen the relationship between YADIM and the Sarawak government and exchange views on the dakwah approach in the State.


“The chief minister also emphasised on the ‘Dakwah Bilhal’ concept, which means ‘dakwah through actions’,” he said, adding that it places focus on good morals and positive attitudes. — DayakDaily
