KUCHING, March 18: The Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Malaysia, His Excellency Michalis Rokas, paid a courtesy call on the Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at the latter’s office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
According to a statement, the two parties discussed various issues, including the bilateral ties between the Euro Zone and Malaysia, with Sarawak in particular.
During the half-an-hour meeting, they also discussed the prospect of investment for the benefit of both countries and regional issues.
Later, the Premier received a farewell visit from the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Kuching, His Excellency Cheng Guangzhong.— DayakDaily
