“He has been bold in the decisions he made and has proven his sceptics wrong on many counts. This includes his emphasis on the digital economy where the Covid-19 pandemic has proven him right, his pursuit of State tax on petroleum products which has led to a windfall for our State coffers, his choice of hydrogen as alternative fuel which is now being embraced as the clean energy alternative across the world and his promotion of the LRT transport system which has now evolved into the novel ART transport system, tram on wheels, just to name a few.

“At CMS, we admire his mantle of bold and forward thinking leadership, the leadership values that we are espousing as a company.”

“Our YAB is a visionary with a heart and passion for Sarawak, a true Anak Sarawak who loves Sarawak with the well being of the people of Sarawak in his heart.

“Since becoming the Chirf Minister, he has embarked on various ambitious plans to take Sarawak forward as he has always felt that Sarawak has been lagging behind the other states.

“His plans for increasing the revenue for Sarawak, major infrastructural projects including roads, bridges, rural  electrification and  water supply to cover the state, sustainable industries and the digital economy and many more are all planned to leapfrog Sarawak into the forefront of the economy in Malaysia and achieving high income society for all Sarawakians.

“YAB has also been a Chief Minister for all races in Sarawak reflecting the traditions and cultural heritage of Sarawak. Apart from providing assistance to the Chinese community, YAB has also provided the same assistance to the other races, namely the Malays, Dayaks, Melanau, Orang Ulu etc.

“All these have shown that this is the Sarawak that YAB would like it to be and this will the policy under YAB’s way forward for Sarawak. With all that in place, we are now the envy of all the other states in Malaysia and making all of us proud of being Sarawakians.”
