KUCHING, Aug 3: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg accompanied Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the latter’s meeting with Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah in Putrajaya today.
According to a Facebook post by news outlet Sarawakku, His Majesty arrived in Kuala Lumpur today for a two-day official visit.
Several memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries in conjunction with His Majesty’s visit to open up space for bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei.
Among other government leaders present were Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, and Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh. — DayakDaily
