BETONG, Oct 31: Nine individuals were arrested for involvement in drug activities during “Ops Perdana” carried out at various locations here yesterday.
According to the state National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK), the individuals, all male, aged between 19 and 50 years old.
“The nine men were screened and ordered for an initial urine test, and all of them were tested positive for Syabu. All of them have been arrested,” the agency said in a statement.
The case is investigated under Section 3(1) of the Drug Dependants (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983. — DayakDaily
