SARATOK, Oct 26: Three people, including a seven-year-old girl, were injuted in a head-on collision between their car and a 4WD vehicle near the Integrated Agriculture Development Area (IADA) office this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Saratok received the emergency at 7.36am and immediately deployed a team of firefighters to the scene.
A report indicated that a Perodua Kancil carrying the injured passengers collided head-on with a Toyota Hilux.
Upon arrival, firefighters used rescue tools to extricate the three passengersāa 70-year-old man, a 33-year-old man, and a seven-year-old childāwho were trapped inside the Perodua Kancil.
All three sustained minor injuries and were handed over to the ambulance and Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) Unit for transport to Saratok Hospital.
The 56-year-old Toyota Hilux driver was unharmed.
The operation concluded at 7.55am after firefighters secured the scene. ā DayakDaily
